Vendor credit. Added logs on increase, decrease, delete

General Rules

  • it is possible to increase/decrease/delete line item on Vendor Credit in statuses:
    • In Review
    • Approved
  • changes should be added to all Item types

Increase Item

If line item was increased then after clicking on the “Save Request” / “Save” / “Save & Approve” buttons:

  • line item qty should be increased
  • Item Return (if exists) will be not change
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Review then Inventories will not be taken from stock
  • If Vendor Credit in status In Approved then Inventories will be taken from stock and decreased
  • corresponding log will be added

Add Item

If line item was added then after clicking on the “Save Request” / “Save” / “Save & Approve” buttons:

  • line item qty should be added
  • Item Return (if exists) will be not change
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Review then Inventories will not be taken from stock
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Approved then Inventories will be taken from stock and decreased
  • corresponding log will be added

Decrease Item

If line item was decreased then after clicking on the “Save Request” / “Save” / “Save & Approve” buttons:

  • line item qty should be decreased
  • Item Return (if exists) will be decreased as well
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Review then Inventories will not be added to stock
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Approved then Inventories will be added to stock and increased
  • corresponding log will be added

Delete Line item

If line item was deleted then After clicking on the “Save Request” / “Save” / “Save & Approve” buttons:

  • line item qty should be deleted
  • item will be deleted from Item Return (if exists)
  • Return Qty column should be hidden
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Review then Inventories will not be added to stock
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Approved then Inventories will be added to stock and increased
  • corresponding log will be added

Vendor Credit deleting

Delete button is added to the Vendor credit in statuses:

  • In Review
  • Approved

After clicking on the button, the message should be displayed: “Are you sure you want to delete Credit?”

NO
after clicking on the button:

  • the message should be closed
  • nothing will be deleted
  • the Vendor Credit edit form will be displayed

YES
after clicking on the button:

  • the message should be closed
  • order will be deleted
  • Item Return (if exists) should be deleted
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Review then Inventories will not be added to stock
  • if Vendor Credit in status In Approved then Inventories will be added to stock and increased

Additional logs

Approve order
After clicking on the “Save & Approve” button the log will be added

Create Credit from IRT
Once Vendor Credit has been created from Item Return then corresponding log with IRT number will be added:

Change Cost
Once Item Cost was changed on Credit then After clicking on the “Save Request” / “Save” / “Save & Approve” buttons:

  • line item cost should be changed and saved
  • log should be added:

Applied to Bill as Payment
If using Vendor Credit was paid Bill or PO then corresponding log will be added

Not Inventory Trackable Order

In case Vendor Credit was synched from QB then OMS system behavior should be as following:

  • Inventory flag “Non Inventory Trackable” is displayed
  • after saving, increasing, decreasing, deleting Items, deleting order in the Vendor Credit that has Inventory flag “Non Inventory Trackable”, such Vendor Credits don’t influence on the Inventory Items and qtys aren’t changed.
