“Total Gift Card” Amount on the Sales Transactions Report List form

Reports Menu -> POS Sales -> Sales Transactions Report List form:

• “Gift Card Sales” Amount:
  • total value;
  • was added at the bottom -> to the Total Values grid;
  • is displayed next to the “Open Balance” value;
  • is displayed the sum of line items from the “Gift Card #” column;
  • the value is calculated separately because:
    • Gift Card it’s not a Sale:
      • this is a debt obligation that the store provides to the customer;
    • for the Gift Cards can’t be paid taxes.
