“Inventory Valuation Summary” report

Reports List from the Menu:

• was added the next Report to the List:
  • Inventory Valuation Summary;
• after clicking on the report -> the corresponding form of Report is opened.

Report “Inventory Valuation Summary”:

• Rules:
  • contains the list of items;
  • filters work the same as on the “Sales by Item summary” report;
• Filters:
  • Date Range; 
  • “Item name” drop-down; 
  • “Customer” drop-down;
  • “Sales Rep” drop-down;
  • “Customer type” drop-down;
  • “Item class” drop-down;
  • “Brand” drop-down;
  • “Category” drop-down;
  • “Department” drop-down;
  • “Store” drop-down;
  • “Hide 0 qty items” checkbox;
  • “Exclude in review” checkbox;
  • “Show cost” checkbox:
    • isn’t checked by default;
    • is displayed if permission is switched on;
    • if the checkbox is checked -> columns and totals are displayed:
      • Avg COGS;
      • Asset value;
      • % of Total Asset;
      • Net Total;
      • Net %;
  • “Include inactive items” checkbox;
• Datagrid:
  • “Item Name” column;
  • “Description” column;
  • “In Stock” column:
    • values are displayed according to the chosen Date Range / Store;
  • “UOM” column;
  • “Avg COGS” column;
  • “Asset Value” column:
    • stock cost price;
    • values are displayed according to the chosen Date Range /Store;
  • “% of Total Asset” column:
    • 1 % cost of this item from the entire stock (including other items in stock);
    • values are displayed according to the chosen Date Range / Store;
  • “Avg Sales Price” column:
    • average selling price for a specific period by linked invoices;
    • the formula is the same as in the “Sales by item summary” report “avg selling price”;
    • values are displayed according to the chosen Date Range /Store;
  • “Retail Value” column:
    • Retail Value = Avg Sales Price * In stock; 
    • if the user sold all his stock -> user will have a “Retail Value” amount;
    • if the stock is 0 -> “retail” value is 0;
    • values are displayed according to the chosen Date Range / Store;
  • “% of Total Retail” column:
    • 1 % selling price of this item from the entire stock (including other items in stock);
    • values are displayed according to the chosen Date Range / Store;
  • Net Total;
  • Net %;
• Totals:
  • Total In stock;
  • Total  Asset Value;
  • Total retail value;
  • Total Net Total;
  • Total Net %;
• “Export to Excel” button:
  • after clicking on the button the excel is downloaded with data from Datagrid;
  • if some lines are checked -> are downloaded only checked lines;
  • if no one line is checked -> are downloaded all lines from Datagrid;
• was added column selector.

OMS Web -> Settings -> Permission:

• were added new permissions to the Reports tab -> Reports List:
  • Can View Inventory Valuation Summary Report:
    • if for the user the checkbox is unchecked:
      • The “Inventory Valuation Summary” Report is hidden from the Report Menu List form.
