Point of Sale and Shipping Order changes

Company Settings:

  • Order Settings -> Sales Order tab:
    • POS Skip” checkbox:
      • was added to the “Sale Order Settings” block -> next to the “Don’t prefill Customer Ship to address by default” checkbox; 
      • isn’t checked by default;
      • if the checkbox is checked:
        • On the Point of Sale / Sale Order:
          • actions for items and for Order aren’t prefilled automatically;
          • the next buttons on the Order aren’t clickable:
            • Save;
            • Accept Payment;
    • “Freight item is required on each POS” checkbox:
      • was added to the “Freight Settings” block -> next to the “Freight item is required on each SO” checkbox;
      • isn’t checked by default;
      • if the checkbox is checked and in the POS Order wasn’t added no one freight item:
        • Accept Payment / Save buttons are disabled;
        • is displayed “Add Freight” button:
          • the button is in red color;
          • after clicking on the button -> to the Order is added freight item:
            • the logic is the same as for Sale Order;
            • it’s a service item;
            • after the freight item was added -> previously described buttons are enabled.

Point of Sale -> Ship Order:

  • If the user adds to the “Pickup” Order not in stock item -> for this item automatically is selected “Create PO Request” action, not “Walk In”;
  • If for the “Pickup” Order was shipped linked Ship Order:
    •  Ship Order / Point of Sale is in statuses “Picked up”;
  • If Point of Sale was sold as “Walk In”:
    •  Ship Order / Point of Sale is in statuses “Completed”;
  • If for the Point of Sale Order was shipped linked Ship Order:
    •  Ship Order / Point of Sale is in statuses “Shipped”;
  • On the Shipping Schedule -> these statuses are displayed:
    • in the “Order Status” column;
    • In the “Order Status” filter;
  • Landed Cost form ->  “Add Ship Order Items” button:
    • these statuses are added to the “Status” filter on the panel;
  • If in the Order are displayed items in the different -> Ship Orders are splitted by the next rules:
    • Walk-In / Not Reserved Items -> Ship Order is in the “Complete” status;
    • Pick up Items -> Ship Order is in “Picked Up” status;
    • Delivery Items -> Ship Order is in “Shipped” status.

Ship Order edit form:

  • “In Transit” button:
    • was added to the “Ship” multi-button;
    • the button is clickable for Ship Order in statuses:
      • Ready to Ship; 
      • Partially Ready to Ship;
    • After clicking on the button:
      • Ship Order is Ready to Ship:
        • the status is changed to “ In Transit”;
      • Ship Order  is Partially Ready to Ship:
        • Ship Order is split into 2 Ship Orders:
          • available items are added to the “In Transit” Ship Order;
          • unavailable items are displayed in the “Not Ready to Ship” Ship Order.

Shipping Schedule List form:

  • “In Transit” status:
    • was added to the filter panel to the “Order Status” dropdown;
    • was added next to the “Ready to Ship” status;
    • was added for all tabs;
    • if the status was selected -> after clicking on the “Search” button:
      1. Orders are filtered;
      2. in the Datagrid are displayed Orders with “In Transit” status;
    • also, this status was added on the “Landed Cost” form.
