Payments and Terms on PO
Payment Terms
The goal of this functionality implementation is to provide User with the ability to set prepayment on the PO edit form for the particular purchasing, control of the timely payment on the Bill Payment form
Payment Tab
was added to the POs, hidden for the drop-ship POs.
Payment Tab contains:
- Totals
- Original Balance. Original Balance = PO total
- PO deposit. PO deposit = deposit payment, with the percentage of Deposit
- Payments on Bill. Payments on Bill = REAL Payment from Bill
- Outstanding. Outstanding = Amount Due
- PO Term button
- after clicking on the button, the “PO Term” pop-up will be opened
- PO Term pop-up, on the pop-up:

- Term Name
- Two terms, for each term:
- Deposit radiobutton. If radiobutton is selected it means that the selected term is the deposit and term percent will influence payment distribution between Proforma Bills
- Term. Should be unique on the form
- Percent. When user enters the percent, this percent means the Payment will correspond to the entered percent. The sum in the Percent column should be equal to 100%. If Amount is added then autocalculated according to the entered Amount.
- Amount. If percent is added then autocalculated according to the entered percent
- Rule: if User has applied to PO payment more or less than deposit %, the Percent and Amount will be recalculated according to the payment amount
- Datagrid. Divided into two sections.
- First section. Displays info according to the current PO including PO deposit, Deposit Amount, Deposit Date, etc.
- Second section. Displays info about linked SLT including:
- SLT Date
- Bill #
- SLT#
- Bill Amount
- On Shipment. Displays the percent of the term that is not marked as deposit
- Date. Displays the date of the term
- Payment. Displayed the payment on related Bill
- Date of Payment. Displays the date of last payment on related Bill
- Balance. Balance = Bill Amount – Payment, etc
If Payment Term was added to the PO from Payment tab then will be displayed read-only Payment Term from Payment tab instead of Payment Term from Vendor edit form.

Proforma Bill
- Bill creation rules:
- One PO -> Many CLT order
- if to Purchase Order has been added Payment Term -> once SLT order has been created:
the Proforma Bill will be created automatically based on SLT order for each SLT order. Proforma will be linked to the PO. Payment will be linked to Proforma Bill automatically from PO. Payment amount depends on the Bill total. Payment amount = (SLT amount * Deposit %)
- if to Purchase Order has been added Payment Term -> once SLT order has been created:
- Many POs -> Many CLT orders
- if to the few purchase orders have been added Payment Terms -> once CLT order has been created:
the Bill proforma will be created for each PO
- if to the few purchase orders have been added Payment Terms -> once CLT order has been created:
- One PO -> Many CLT order
- Proforma Bill edit form
- created automatically based on SLT
- payment added automatically
- List Form
- new Proforma bucket is created, with the counter of Proforms Bills
- it isn’t possible to merge Proforma Bill
- Move Proforma Bill to In Review status
- once from CLT order IR is created, linked Proforma Bill will be Moved to the In Review Status. Payment will stay linked to the Bill
- New Payment Rules for Bill
- it is possible to add Proforma/In review Bills to the Bulk Payment form
Item Receipt
After Item Receipt creation from the SLT Order with Proforma Bill, Total Units will be taken from SLT and disabled. Disabled possibility to delete Items.
Bill Payments Form
- Terms
- If on PO was added PO term (Deposit/Shipment) Name for the Purchase orders will be displayed “PO term (Deposit/Shipment) Name” instead of “Payment term (net N)”
- Suggest Payment Column

- auto-calculated automatically according to the PO Deposit term
- Arrow icon. Displayed if the deposit term is added to the PO. After clicking on the icon, the Suggested Payment will be copied to Payment. If PO already has prepayment then the Suggest Payment value will be prefilled automatically according to the entered Percent minus prepayment
Vendor edit form
Payment Terms on the Vendor edit form isn’t required
