Notes on the Sale Order / Purchase Order / Bill

Sale Order edit form:

  • Notes tab:
    • was added next to the “Cost” tab on the left panel;
    • near the “Notes” tab name is displayed the Notes counter for this Order;
    • after clicking on the tab:
      • the Notes pop-up is opened;
  • “Notes” pop-up contains:
    • 3 separated blocks: 
      • Descriptions  -> are displayed Descriptions from the Item edit form:
        • “Description” textarea -> Primary Description:
          • is always editable;
          • can be empty;
        • “Secondary” textarea -> Secondary Description:
          • is always editable;
          • can be empty;
        • “Internal Item Note” textarea -> Internal Note:
          • is always editable;
          • can be empty;
      • Notes textarea:
        • was added to the bottom of the block;
        • in the textarea was added the “Add” button;
        • after clicking on the “Add” button:
          • Note is displayed in the Notes List before the textarea;
          • the last added Note is displayed at the bottom of the List;
          • each of notes:
            • can be edited;
            • contains:
              • user who added;
              • Note Date and Time;
            • has the next radio-button:
              • To all;
              • To Vendor;
              • To Customer;
              • Internal -> is selected by default
            • in the each of notes is displayed “Delete” button -> after clicking on the button note can be deleted from the List;
            • Notes can be added by “CTRL + ENTER” shortcut;
      • Tags:
        • “Enter Tag” textbox ->  was added to the bottom of the block;
        • in the textbox is added “Add” button;
        • Tags are displayed in the Tags List before the textarea;
        • the last added Tag is displayed at the bottom of the List;
        • each of the Tags:
          • can be edited;
          • in the each of Tags is displayed “Delete” button -> after clicking on the button tag can be deleted from the List;
        • Tags can be added by “ENTER” button;
      • Cancel button:
        • is always clickable;
        • after clicking on the button:
          • the pop-up is closed;
          •  all filled information isn’t added;
          • the Notes Counter isn’t changed;
      • Save button:
        • if something were added to the pop-up -> the button is clickable;
        • after clicking on the button:
          • the pop-up is closed;
          • all filled information is added;
          • the Notes Counter is changed;
      • if user used CTRL + N buttons shortcut on the Order -> the Notes pop-up is opened;
  • Notes tab also was added to Orders listed below:
    • Purchase Order;
    • Bill;
  • Info tab -> Notes textarea:
    • Click on edit button -> Open Notes pop-up should contain:
      • Memo textarea:
        • the Memo from Order is displayed;
        • can be empty;
        • if the user adds a Memo and clicks on the “Enter” button -> Memo is saved for Order;
      • Notes block:
        • Enter Note textarea:
          • was added at the bottom of the pop-up;
          • logic is the same as for the Notes pop-up for Notes tab;
          • at the bottom of each note are displayed radio buttons:
            • To all -> if the note was added -> it is linked to the:
              • Order Customer;
              • if Purchase Order linked to Sale Order -> after click on the Save button -> Note is linked to the Vendor;
              • Internal -> for Order and linked Orders;
            • To Vendor -> if Purchase Order linked to Sale Order -> after click on the Save button -> Note is linked to the Vendor;
            • To Customer -> Note is added to the Customer from Sale Order;
            • Internal:
              • Note is added for Order and linked Orders;
              • all notes by default are Internal;
        • Cancel button:
          • is always clickable;
          • after clicking on the button:
            • the pop-up is closed;
            • notes/memo aren’t added;
            • the Notes Counter isn’t changed;
        • Save button:
          • if notes/memo were added to the pop-up ->the button is clickable;
          • after clicking on the button:
            • the pop-up is closed;
            • notes/memo are added;
            • the Notes Counter is changed;
        • to see all Notes List -> can be used scroll.

Orders List form:

  • if the user selects Order from Order List and uses CTRL + N buttons shortcut -> the Notes pop-up is opened the same as on the Order Info tab;
  • this ability was added to the next List forms:
    • Sale Order;
    • Purchase Order;
    • Bill.
