If for Sales Order with Backorder and Ready to Ship items were created different Pick Orders -> Split Sale Order is used automatically for both Pick Orders.
To check this, the user needs to do the next steps:
- Create Sale Order with items in the next statuses:
- Ready to Ship;
- Check Stock;
- Backorder;
- “Some items are not available in stock. Do you want to split order by availability?” message is displayed -> Click on “Yes” button;
- For Backorder item is created new Sale Order -> Click on “Save & Process” button;
- Refresh basic Sale Order -> Order without Backorder item -> Save & Process;
- Open Shipping Schedule -> Find previously created Sales Orders;
- Check “Ready to Pick” Order and click on the “Send to Pick” button;
- Check “Create Pick Order for each SHO based on Case & Loose settings” checkbox;
- In the Pick order for Check Stock item fill in 0 Pick Qty -> Click on “Pick” button;
- Reserve Inventory panel is opened -> for Item in the “Allocate” column fill 0 Qty and in the “Remaining Qty Action” column select “Create New SO & Backorder” Action -> Split So number is automatically filled in the SO # column;
- Click on the “Save & Process” button;
- Refresh Shipping Schedule;
- First Ship Order with Ready to Ship Item is Picked;
- Ship Order with Not Reserved Items Not Ready to Ship.
